W. Laboussiere (1912-92)served in the Spanish civil war (1936-39) with the Republicans. Are you sure he was later a Vichy pilot?
Laboussière's decorations: Officier de la Légion d'Honneur, Croix de Guerre 1939-1945, Médalle de la Resistánce, Médalle de la Valeur Militaire. Was he a Vichy pilot? Well, he shot down a Japanese aircraft when the Japanese armed forces occupied French Indochina before Pearl Harbour.
This is an incorrect page and insulting to the families, they are not Vichy

The page heading needs to change immediately. This is a list of French air aces (see source citation which is reliable). It is defamatory to incorrectly label all these men, all holding medals from the French Postwar Government - as Vichy. 83.77.210.74 (talk) 20:31, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
