How about you two explain your concerns and I will explain my reasons? Waseemg 16:27 30 September 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.104.157.49 (talk)

First, I'm confused. You sign as Waseemg but the logged user for the message is 142.104.157.49. The same IP that reverted my change.
The list was massively deleted and that's what I was reverting back to. A version which contains considerably more information than it does now. I believe it is you that should explain why the larger list should not be present. Cburnett (talk) 00:29, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hey Cburnett, my intention was not to delete the information and leave it the way it is that you reverted. I am still adding the rest of the information on my new table. So far I have done all North American WAZA members and I am currently working on European and Near East members and will continue adding the other continents. So whatever you reverted was not the finished product, however, you keeping an eye out for vandalism should be acknowledged. Waseemg (talk) 18:03 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Your list is grossly incomplete and by that I mean you claim you've finished North American but I can name several zoos at a quick glance that you have neglected.
Furthermore combining them into one giant table does not seem prudent. What is the problem with started with the old table and adding from that? Cburnett (talk) 02:22, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
With the first question, I did not put those zoos/aquariums in the list because I actually found out through the website that they were not members of WAZA. With the second question, I understand about you feeling prudent, I actually thought about it myself, before doing so, but this list in my opinion could be done more neatly and the way it was done before was complicated (in my opinion). Furthermore, this same box style has been used in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums lists and it has several advantages, which the old style didn't. The box will shorten the page and make it look neater and were putting the zoos in alphabetical order and if anybody want to see it in the alphabetical order through countries - they can just click the country and the order will change. If you feel it is better to add continents I can add it to the box, as well. However, I feel that we should talk about this even further and if you want - you and I can work on it. There are a few links here to ZOOM. Can someone who is in the know here update that link or add more info to the ZOOM disamb page? Kingturtle (talk) 13:51, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Grossly outdated and incomplete

edit

The list is not nearly complete and the only reference is a dead link. This article needs serious updating or might be best off discarted entirely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.162.21.217 (talk) 21:20, 22 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
