Game releases that are not existing?
editwas working through the list and found some games that have a release on the list, but not on the detail page for the game. Example would be Auto Modelista. That game has a NA Release January 20, 2004 and a JP release on January 29, 2004. The List page has a PAL release in addition released on November 26, 2003, the JP release is now at January 20, 2004 (so 9 days earlier than the detail page) and the NA release on January 21, 2004 (1 day later than on detail page). Another example is Iron Phoenix. according to the list, released on PAL October 19, 2004, unreleased in JP and released March 25, 2003 in NA. I struggle to find sources on an existing PAL release for this game. same for "The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact" and "The King of Fighters 2003" and "Digimon World 4". I find evidence for a PAL release on PS2, but not XBOX. ProStroke Golf Worldtour 2007 has a PAL release (i have it) also according to its detail page, but is "Unreleased" in PAL on the list. Curious George lists a PAL release for xbox, but the detail page of the game says there was none. i also cant find evidence of one.
Is there a definitive source where we can verify what is correct? i cannot find any information on a PAL release for xbox on this game. 2003:CC:1721:5B9E:7835:D566:7806:6F87 (talk) 16:19, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
X360 Backwards Compatibility
editWhy did you remove the list of games compatible for x360? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:A31C:E040:1800:3C85:1D7D:1564:A3E7 (talk) 11:24, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
Xbox vs Xbox 360 games
editI wanted to provide a note that I undid the change from today that someone put the list of Xbox 360 games into this page in addition to the list of Xbox 360 games. This is the page for Xbox(original) not Xbox 360. -Aj6627 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aj6627 (talk • contribs) 20:34, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
HDTV Capability Listing
editSomewhere we need to list the games that have support or are able to output HDTV signals, or maybe we need to simply indicate that somehow on this list because some games do, but it would be silly to create a page for the game simply to state that it puts out a nice HDTV signal (with the appropriate equipment of course). For example, Crash Nitro Kart does, but I don't know that I could write up a whole lot about the game as it's not entirely a favorite of mine, but I like that it outputs a solid HDTV signal. Or are there so few games that do this and we shouldn't bother to note this sort of information? Comments, suggests, etc... --Kyrin\talk 18:29, 2004 Dec 24 (UTC)
I second this idea, I don't know where anyone would get the data for this, though. SolotaireDeaton 20:21, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Xbox360 Backwards Compatibility Listing
editThis might also be a good idea, but it is under its own heading... Should these lists be amalgamated? SolotaireDeaton 20:21, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
A list of Xbox exclusives would be a useful addition...
edit...don't you think?
- Useful for what? --217.232.214.55 (talk) 07:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Is there a comprehensive list somewhere?

List with Pictures
editYou fools are all wondering why their are pictures in the list, and also for GC & PS2.
- I did it, because it will make the list look better.
People will recoginze those games
Not just any picture, i added some noticable & popular games, for example Halo 2, but some people/wiki/vistors. Might want to put different pictures(that are not really popular, for example New Legend). And also no multiplatform game picture should be on, like Mortal Kombat, because if the picture is on there, then there should be a picture for GC & PS2 List.
All you have to do is...
- Put a picture of a famous game list for either ps2, xbox or GC
- For example, Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
- Delete multiplatform picture games,
- accpet for special ones, for example Soul Calibure 2
That is all i ask
- Thanks:P
Club Football
editShould all the different editions of Club Football be listed? There are 35 different editions by my count. --207.69.138.135 09:26, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Another update which has waited nine years! I'll try to determine exactly how many editions were released for each of the two years and add them all soon. Cosmoterran (talk) 03:56, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
According to the Club Football Wikipedia page, there are 38 variants (16 clubs each received a variant for both years, one received a variant only for the first year, and five each received a variant only for the second year). I added them all, nearly a decade after the suggestion was made! Ha! :) Cosmoterran (talk) 22:59, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- Considering 35 editions were included at the time the comment was made, I think they were wondering if they should be removed. I think it would make more sense to have just two entries, one for the 2003 and 2004 releases, and possibly noting the club specific versions. --173.184.103.172 (talk) 17:32, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

Dinosaur Hunting
editHas anyone ever heard of the game called dinosaur hunting? I know its a real game but I cant fined it on the web anywhere. 24.208.55.168 23:14, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
I know it's really late on this subject but I will add the game to the list. -Wickedsin69 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wickedsin69 (talk • contribs) 04:05, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
It seems as though the template limit has been reached for this page. --207.69.140.35 21:12, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Volvo: Drive For Life and Indigo Prophecy
editVolvo: Drive For Life should be added to the list, it is an XBOX game, albeit a non commercially released one. Indigo Prophecy should be combined with Fahrenheit like Fatal Frame is with Project Zero. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.168.134.229 (talk) 19:17, August 23, 2007 (UTC)
Volvo: Drive for Life was mentioned on the talk page nine years before being added to the article! Cosmoterran (talk) 03:42, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
Learn how to alphabetize
editI can't believe you alphabetized some of these games by the word "the". Any title with the 1st word "the" is alphabetized by the 1st letter of the word that comes after it. Makes you look uneducated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.30.35 (talk) 17:52, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- This is an acceptable way to alphabetize videogames. This is not a book list on a public library and it doesn't have to follow the same rules. Also, WP:SOFIXIT --Enric Naval (talk) 21:24, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- Video game titles starting with "The" isn't as common as it is with books (where that type of sorting originates) or movies (21.4% of the movies I've seen for instance). On this list there are 44 such titles (4.2% of the list) and about half of those are from movie/television properties, i.e. The Simpsons. It's not mandatory to sort it that way when the occurrence of titles starting with "The" is that low. --173.184.103.172 (talk) 16:10, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2009
editPro Evolution Soccer 2009 is, I belive, to be the last game for the Xbox, this shold be added to the list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.108.225.40 (talk) 08:02, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Adding columns
editI am currently going through and editing the Gamecube game list and would like to know if some one would like me to do this one next. I am thinking it would be helpful to add and exclusive column and a backward compatibility column. Thoughts?Rpgking4 (talk) 04:29, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Alphabetize
editWho's the brain surgeon that alphabetized the games that begin with "The" under "T"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.247.22.101 (talk) 00:04, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
Progressing Slowly
editI have looked over a number of concerns and I am working on fixing a majority of the problems. I have added a Xbox 360 compatibility list, and a exclusive list as well. Although it is taking longer than expected to do the whole list. I am slowly correcting the alphabetization that someone has done. Hopefully I can get some help at some point in time from another editor.
I started because I use Wikipedia a lot for refrences and this page is very sloppy and needs fixing!
So if you'd like to help me out, any info you might have on some games or something. Thanks.

- I've started formatting each section in the list. I have done J, Q, & U-Z So far. Is this sort of what your doing? - Orangemohawk 1:52, 11 September, 2010 ((UTC))
Yeah that looks exactly right, very nice. Thanks for all your hard work. My computer is down so I haven't been able to work on the list.
-Wickedsin69 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wickedsin69 (talk • contribs) 01:30, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll keep working and hopefully it'll be done soon so we can turn it into one actual list! Orangemohawk 01:36, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Dave Carman's Pro Golfer
editCan anyone find a reference for this game or anything showing that it's real or something? I can't find proof that it was made other then the fact that it's on the list. I'd like to update the information on it but I can't find anything anywhere about it. Thanks!

First Paragraph
editI was wondering if someone could make the first paragraph into something that actually makes sense. For Example:
- What is Australasia?
- Why does it say the number of exclusive games to each country then three games not released in USA?
I would fix it if I knew what it was supposed to say, but I have no idea.
Missing games?
editI don't see Brute Force on the list, is there a reason for this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.42.17.190 (talk) 01:53, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure if it wasn't there a couple days ago or not but it looks like it's on the list now. -Wickedsin69 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wickedsin69 (talk • contribs) 03:30, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
There missing games, I've the The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind, Game of the Year Edition with the Tribunal and the Bloodmoon expansions. It's from 2003 UK and it doesn't appear. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.32.217.149 (talk) 19:29, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
The Game "The Red Star" isn't shown, nevermind shows as "cancelled" on IGN.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.9.157.183 (talk) 02:40, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
The Game "RPM Tuning" (aka Top Gear RPM Tuning) is missing. 86.145.213.196 (talk) 21:28, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
Region Free?
editi found this link: http://home.netyou.jp/cc/jimkanoh/region.htm is there a way i can work that into the list?Quickmythril (talk) 18:19, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
The list needs a rework
editCounting: 968 games are listed. NOT 999! Sorting: Games with the article "The" should be correctly sorted under "T" Region Variants: A lot of release details are wrong and were taken from PS2 releases! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.217.193.222 (talk) 13:08, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
I found the 999 number highly questionable.
Titles should be categorized ignoring "The," as per convention. Cosmoterran (talk) 18:43, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Missing games?
editI've noticed that many Xbox releases are missing from the list, mostly Japanese only games, like Angelic Concert, Aoi Namida, Bistro Cupid, Drihoo, etc. Is it possible that a verified Wikipedia member could add the missing games? I could provide for a list and sources for all the missing games if it results useful in completing the list — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.13.111.200 (talk) 00:54, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
Crimson Skies is missing too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.192.81.182 (talk) 22:53, 18 July 2016 (UTC)
Triangle Again and Triangle Again 2 are also missing. 73.255.100.165 (talk) 14:04, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
I added them, but left the publisher and developer fields blank, since Production I.G., its parent company MIG Entertainment, and Kiki Co., Ltd. are variously cited as either publisher or developer, or both, and I don't know what's correct. 73.255.100.165 (talk) 14:32, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
Accordingly, I also updated the overall game count to 896, and the Japanese exclusives to 28. Isn't there a way to create an automated table counter? 73.255.100.165 (talk) 14:33, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
Added Volvo: Drive for Life, an advergame available apparently only through US Volvo dealerships (I found no references to it being released outside the US). Some sources say it wasn't released, but I confirmed through online store listings (which include pictures of the actual disc and case) and gameplay videos that it was. The list now stands at 897. Let's see if we can reach a verified 900. 73.255.100.165 (talk) 15:36, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
I found fifteen more Japanese exclusives, registered an account, and added them, increasing the total to 912 games, including 43 Japanese exclusives. Japan is usually considered to have few exclusives on the original Xbox, but now we know it received many; they just aren't well known to English speakers. I wonder how many more there are. Could there be 1000 or more games total? Seems unlikely, but the list is likely missing at least a few more. A Japanese speaker could assist in finding more. Cosmoterran (talk) 17:25, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Added the first and possibly only Korean exclusive. Cosmoterran (talk) 18:36, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Games that were never released on the Xbox
editI have noticed a few games listed that were never actually released on the Xbox, specifically Simpsons Skateboarding, which was a PS2 exclusive. I'm sure there's probably a few others that have somehow made their way onto the list too.
Spreadsheet with 1058 Games Claimed
editThis spreadsheet claims 1058 games for the original Xbox, 145 more than currently listed here. We need to cross reference the two. I already noticed that the spreadsheet is missing AFL Live Premiership Edition, which the Wikipedia list has, so they both must have unique content currently. The spreadsheet also calls AFL Premiership 2005 "AFL Live 2005." Cosmoterran (talk) 18:36, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Per a suggestion from Redditor thedawgsyearisnext, I cross referenced the Wikipedia list and the spreadsheet by copying both their title lists into one column in Excel, highlighting the duplicates, sorting by color, and then manually examining the ~400 titles which remained, almost all of which were duplicates which weren't automatically detected since they weren't exact matches. After several minutes, I'd eliminated all of those. Next, I eliminated all the alternate titles of the same games (plus a few games which weren't actually released on the original Xbox or at all, such as The Red Star, UFO: Aftershock, and Fuel), finally arriving at four games on the spreadsheet not on the Wikipedia list: Major League Baseball 2K5 (and its World Series Edition), Major League Baseball 2K7, Micro Machines, and Bass Pro Shops: Trophy Bass 2007, plus the Metal Slug 4 & 5 combo disc, Psyvariar 2: Extend Edition, and the Xbox Live Arcade and Xbox Video Chat discs. I added the four games, bringing the total to 1043. I'll add the variant editions and nongames later. I'm surprised by how many unlisted games I've found for a console which will be fifteen years old next month. I think we can be confident the list is now 99% complete at least, but finding a few more obscure titles, especially Japanese ones, wouldn't surprise me. Cosmoterran (talk) 07:46, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
Massive Miscount Corrected
editI copied the list into Google Sheets and Microsoft Word, and both counted 1002 rows. I'm not sure how the list was nearly 100 games off (especially since it was at 999 and then 968 some time ago). That's still 56 games less than listed on the spreadsheet I found and linked to above. I tried an addon called Remove Duplicates to find the unique titles between the two after copying the two title columns into one sheet, but it didn't work. I also don't know if this means the North American and European exclusives counts are off, too. Cosmoterran (talk) 03:20, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
TOCA/Pro/V8 Supercar Race Driver
editThese (and their sequels) are all essentially the same game, however there were modifications made for each release location (Europe, North America, Australia), and the box art is different. Should each be listed as the one same game with laternate titles or as separate games? Brionnach (talk) 01:10, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
What game involves...
editFirst mission is to grab a fire extinguisher and put out the flames of the plane. Then you're taken away to a camp and must escape, but not have your hideout discovered? 2605:A000:7481:E600:98E2:F0D9:F096:9A11 (talk) 03:22, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
