Talk:List of airports by IATA airport code: C

You my add CGN for Cologne, Germany. Should be mentioned: it´s also an emergency runway for the Space Shuttle (from Cologne, Germany)

CBG is a mildly interesting case. It's used[1] for the small airport at Cambridge, and IATA's own site confirms this [2]. However, a bunch of people [3] [4], including even parts of the US government [5], are under the impression that it's the code for Cambridge, Minnesota. Maybe we should mention that in the entry, as well. Is this an example of a clash between FAA-allocated and IATA-allocated codes? Marnanel 23:51, Apr 10, 2004 (UTC)

The CDW code links to the article for the corporation by the same name, so I've removed that link for now. Other suggestions? Should a new article called "CDW (airport)" be created, or should a disambiguation page be put in place, renaming the current CDW article to "CDW (corporation)"? What's the point of the 'purposefully non-disambiguated' links to articles for the 3 letter airport codes? From what I can tell they are totally, absolutely useless and pointless! These are lists of airport codes thus there should be links to the article for the airport, if it has one, or to the city it serves. --kingboyk 16:15, 15 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
