editIs the terminology "First Class" (etc.) an official Japanese government wording, or can we rename these "Class 1" (etc.)?
The official terminology is dai I shu, dai II shu and dai III shu (第一種、第二種、第三種 lit. the first kind, the second kind and the third kind). The post-war Japanese beaureaucrats are trained to avoid offence.
However, current wording First Class, etc. suggesting hierarchy is less confusing. Usually First Class airports are the busier. I feel this wording should be kept.
it was commonplace to find a note in the listing for Tokyo airports that haneda did handle international flights to finesse between the two Chinas. It would be nice to see that detail set out here by someone who knew it accurately!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.194.19.80 (talk) 08:37, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
number of flights / passenger data
editThis list would be much more handy if it would include passenger data and or number of flights. Does anybody have a good source for this? --Mkill (talk) 07:50, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Runways and longest length at each airport
editWould help in sorting the airport size by listing # of runways and length of longest. Typically anything less then 3499 ft is for GA, while longer is commercial and corporate. Flightsoffancy (talk) 17:58, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
