Retitle?
editGiven that the AfD has closed and we still have this list, I would suggest that it is moved to List of recordings of "Jingle Bells", with details of the actual recordings added, and entries only retained if they can be sourced. Any thoughts?--Michig (talk) 09:47, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- Sure, provide the requisite information, and then put in a move request. Beyond My Ken (talk) 10:24, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- This would be my approach with the re-titled list:
- Limit to recordings by notable artists
- Limit to those that can be sourced
- Include year and the album/EP/whatever that the recording first appeared on, and notes on any other relevant details
- Omit any artist that has simply 'performed' the song but not recorded it
Removed from list
editI have removed the following as they were unsourced and had no details of the recorded version. Please feel free to re-add them with appropriate details and sources:

- Etta James
- George Jones*Kitaro

- Five seconds of Googling turned up the Judy Collins reference. I wish you hadn't removed all these names. Beyond My Ken (talk) 03:11, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- Since every artist I've looked at turns out to have recorded the song, I'm going to WP:AGF about the editors who added these names and restore them all to the list. I'll leave the names here as a reminder of which artists need to be substantiated. Beyond My Ken (talk) 03:31, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
