Punctuation of Article's Title
editI am a bit of a stickler for the proper use of apostrophes. The title of this article should be List of Phil Collins' Awards. I propose a move accordingly. --ukexpat (talk) 22:14, 8 January 2008 (UTC) Article Moved--gordonrox24 (talk) 21:48, 11 March 2009 (UTC) Can someone please fix this article, to put it in a table format, so that these stupid notices clear out.

Possibly missing sources
editHello, I'm the one who has edited some things recently.
1 Grammy Awards:
http://www.awardsandshows.com/grammy-awards.html
Some years ago, there were some sites on the internet with all nominations and wins since the beginning (1959). Unfortunately most of those sites have been taken down. There is just this site. Because of the authenticity of these facts I have linked all these nominations and wins with the suitable wikipedia articles. So all wins and most of these and nominations are in other wikipedia articles as well. Except of the nominations for "Pop Vocal Group" for "Easy Lover", "Engineered Recording" for ...But Seriously and "Instrumental Arrangement" for "Do Nothing till You Hear from Me" all other nominations can be found in the primary Grammy-related articles from wikipedia. But anyway these three mentioned nominations for "Easy Lover", ...But Seriously and "Do Nothing till You Hear from Me" are correct!
2 American Music Awards:
http://www.rockonthenet.com/amas/index.htm
Almost the same in "1 Grammy Awards": All nominations and wins can be found in the primary wikipedia articles about these special ceremonies. If on this article there are no special albums or singles named (e.g. in the "Favorite Artist" categories), I've put in the column "nomination" the respective albums or singles, for which these nominations stand for (e.g. Tarzan Soundtrack for "Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist", etc.), because it is definitely clear for which album Phil Collins was awarded in 1999.
3 Brit Awards:
http://www.brits.co.uk/artist/phil-collins http://www.brits.co.uk/artist/hugh-padgham http://www.brits.co.uk/artist/Buster
All wins can be found on the main URLs of the Brit Awards respective ceremonies. But if you look to the links of about Phil Collins, Hugh Padgham and Buster on the Brit Awards, you can find the nominations too. Apart from that, like in "2 American Music Awards", if there are no albums or singles be named in the column "nomination", I have put in the suitable albums or singles for which these special nominations stand for (e.g. Hello I Must Be Going! for "Britsh Male Artist"-nominee for 1982 and Serious Hits...Live! for "British Male Artist"-nominee for 1991.).
4 to 7 (MTV Video Music Awards, Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Hall of Fame)

All nominations and wins could be found on these reliable sites and on the main articles in wikipedia.
8 Honorary degrees
http://bobleafe.com/layout/Results.tpl?cart=105784627278012&artist=Phil%20Collins&startat=1 http://www.berklee.edu/about/honorary%20copy.html http://mcmurryuniversity.wordpress.com/2012/05/14/mcmurry-honorary-doctorate-is-a-tremendous-honor-singer-phil-collins-says/
I have found some information about the three honorary degrees Phil Collins has received. Two of these sources are from the university pages, thus reliable. He has received another honorary degree from the "Dickinson University" in 1987. If any person could find a reliable source this person would be very welcome.
9 Disney Legends
I haven't found information on the Disney Homepage, but the suitable wikipedia-article contains this information about the Disney Legend Award in 2002 for Phil Collins.
If someone put these sources in the right format, this someone would be welcome. I hope that any time this sentence: "This article needs additional citations for verification." will be taken down.

I added the Grammy Award for Best Performance Music Video for the video album The Prince's Trust All-Star Rock Concert performed in 1986 because this award went to the performing artists (Elton John, Phil Collins, Midge Ure, Eric Clapton, etc.) and the video producer (Anthony Eaton). Phil Collins performed his solo song "In The Air Tonight" and played drums almost the whole concert so he was part of that award-winning performance. All in all Phil Collins has won 9 (8 solo and 1 with Genesis) Grammy Awards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.20.171.32 (talk) 09:18, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
