It seems the authors of this page have forgotten an entry, the Ottoman battleship Mesudiye. Though built as a center-battery ironclad she was later refitted into a predreadnaught like vessel and various sources like this one for example [[1]].XavierGreen (talk) 01:51, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Assari Tewfik was also rebuilt about the same time as Mesudiye, but i am uncertain of the details of her configuration after her refit.XavierGreen (talk) 02:00, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
This is a though one but I consider Mesudiye a battleship only in name. She was an ironclad as the date when the earliest battleships to be built was in the 1880's.
