This article as a topic seems worthy of a Wikipedia article, but the way it starts off "To honor 2014 being declared by the..." does not seem appropriate. That almost seems like a blog where "I am going to do this to celebrate this". Wikipedia articles should ideally not refer to their own compilation and creation.
