Removal of notable bodhrán players
editI am afraid that I cannot put this politely, so I'll just stick to the facts. John Joe Kelly and Johnny "Ringo" Mc Donagh have gained the status of "living legends" amongst bodhrán players. Anyone who states that they were "not notable" does not have any knowledge of bodhrán players and bodhrán playing whatsoever. These two are just the "tip of the iceberg".
Sorry User:IronGargoyle, these are the facts. Please do some research before you act.
I'll add some sources to the List.

- I have been removed too. I am Catie Lake - aka The Bodhraness - founder of the main global players community back in 2001. The community still exists, having moved from Yahoo to Facebook some years ago, and we now have several thousand members globally. I am a retired semi-pro Bodhranai having had to stop when I was diagnosed with MS. I am still an occasional for-fun player and regarded as a virtuoso as my former band mates and the local folk and acoustic club. The Social Technologist with an incurable gadget obsession!
