I propose that List of books about philosophy be merged into Index of philosophical literature. I think that the content in the 'List of books about philosophy' article can easily be explained in the context of 'Index of philosophical literature', and the 'Index of philosophical literature' article is of a reasonable size that the merging of 'List of books about philosophy' will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Are there any articles similar to the aforementioned two? Another quite tedious task would be to update the relevant publication entries in the List of years in philosophy. As I am relatively new to Wikipedia, is there any way to avoid too much manual work? Anthrophilos (talk) 17:57, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Support -- this is a pretty obvious duplication. In answer to your (Anthrophilos) question, I use CatScan 2.0 to find the intersection of categories (for instance, the intersection of "philosophical literature" and "1950 books.") Greg Bard (talk) 21:10, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
