India
editRecntly Authentic delhiuser, added the "Delhi State Booksellers and Publishers Association" entry in a new section for india, in a new section, which they created. In the process Authentic delhiuser deleted the heading for Asia, perhaps by mistake. StarryGrandma reveted these edits with the edit summary "India is in Asia". She then added a sub-section for India under Asia, and added "Federation of Publishers' and Booksellers' Associations in India" to it. Authentic delhiuser then edited again, replacing the FPBAI entry with an entry for the DSBPA. Both the DSBPA and FPBAI entries were sourced to their own websites. Both appear to exist. I have therefore restored the DSBPA entry while retaining the FPBAI entry, and formatting the DSBPA cite with {{cite web}}. I also removed the phrase "(First book organisation of India)" as uncited puffery (the DSBPA does not appear to so describe itself on its site with this phrase). Hsving both entries seems the proper response here. If anyoe thinks differently, please indicate your reasons in this section so they can be discussed, rather than having an edit war. - Thanks DESiegel, that seems to be the best way to handle it. Most of the entries are for country level organizations, but there are some that are more local. StarryGrandma (talk) 17:27, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
- You are welcome, StarryGrandma. A State-level assocation, particularly the capitol state, seems reasonable. Many Indian states are larger in both area and population than many countries, after all. DES (talk) 17:46, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
