Created Column
editI'm confused by the created column there's Gloucester County created in 1686 formed from Burlington County yet that was only created in 1694? Reference 11 uses founded in their table while reference 6 uses formed and the figures are different, what's the difference? The recent change of the created years perhaps should be undone and reference 6 used. That way the history section wouldn't contain year discrepancies as it currently does. --Jpeeling (talk | contribs) 17:07, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

how the heck do you add a column to a table!?
editI tried to use this guide https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Introduction_to_tables_with_VisualEditor/4 but no triangles appeared for me. Anyway, here's the data:
County | Number of municipalities |
---|---|
Atlantic | 23 |
Bergen | 70 |
Burlington | 40 |
Camden | 37 |
Cape May | 16 |
Cumberland | 14 |
Essex | 22 |
Gloucester | 24 |
Hudson | 12 |
Hunterdon | 26 |
Mercer | 12 |
Middlesex | 25 |
Monmouth | 53 |
Morris | 39 |
Ocean | 33 |
Passaic | 16 |
Salem | 15 |
Somerset | 21 |
Sussex | 24 |
Union | 21 |
Warren | 22 |
Bergen County etmyology
editIn the table, under "Named for" for Bergen County the following is written:
Bergen, New Netherland settlement
However, the source for the section says something different:[1]
Additionally, while obviously the Wikipedia article is not a reliable source per WP:CIRCULAR, the Bergen County article mentions the origin of the name "Bergen County" as being under dispute; the article lists Bergen Township, Bergen, Norway, Bergen, Holland, and Hans Hansen Bergen as possible name origins. With all of these possible origins, what should go under "Named for" for Bergen County? Two, twicetalk 01:54, 28 October 2020 (UTC)

Issue: Interactive map of counties in NJ
editThe interactive map is missing two counties from central NJ, Mercer and Somerset.
Uncertain how to determine whether the issue is on Open Street Maps or with the query made to the server. Jdb1890 (talk) 17:08, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Jdb1890, I am pretty sure the error is OSM side, and that it was introduced in this change set https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/113675281 . That's the only change set that affected either county recently. I'm trying to figure out why exactly it broke still. Acebarry (talk) 02:44, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
