Talk:List of countries by firearm-related homicide rates

Yearly table updated. Also, a new table for latest available year

edit

To see how the tables were created see:

The yearly table has the latest year as the first data column. This is better for cell phones since most users want to look at recent data first. They can see that without horizontal scrolling on their cell phone screens. --Timeshifter (talk) 14:56, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

The content of this list article concentrates on homicides while the title of the article is broad enough to encompass suicides. Should the title be narrowed to homicides, or should the content be supplemented to correspond to the broader title? —RCraig09 (talk) 00:23, 21 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Article was moved/renamed "List of countries by firearm-related homicide rates" on 21 Sept 2024. —RCraig09 (talk) 13:23, 24 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Problems with the above table being in this article

edit

The remaining tables have the same source, data, and latest year.

The table that has been removed has different years, and sometimes different data.

And it covers suicides too. This table should be moved elsewhere to another article, or a separate article, or broken up. Or something. But it shouldn't be here.

It just confuses people reading this article. --Timeshifter (talk) 11:30, 21 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Removed suicide-only bar chart

edit

The US has had the largest number of gun-related suicides in the world every year from 1990 through at least 2019.[1]
