I have removed the {{prod}} tag which proposed that this page be deleted, because I think that it has merit and so should not be deleted from Wikipedia. I'm leaving this message here as notification. If you still think it should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back as that process is only to be used when there is no opposition. Warden (talk) 16:13, 4 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough, and I'm glad you have expanded it a bit. I suggest it needs more of an explanation of its scope (Is it writers in newspapers and magazines as compared to book authors? Would it include a writer of cricket-related fiction? How does it relate to the set of authors who are included in the Bibliography of cricket?) and some annotations about the people (dates? what kind of writing?). I'll try and remember to have a look back in a while and see whether it looks worth keeping or AfDing. PamD16:40, 4 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
