About this article
editI had been cleaning up off-label use and saw that over time contributors had been adding examples of drugs which are known for off-label use.
This sort of list might never end. Perhaps every drug has an off-label use, and many drugs have many off-label uses which are the subjects of discussion and research in reliable sources.
I do not think this is a very good article, but neither was I ready to delete this content outright from "off-label use". Instead, I cut and pasted this content from there to here, and now at least this forces the discussion about where and how Wikipedia should present this content. Having some examples is fine, but this is an indiscriminate list and I am not clear which examples of off-label use should be presented as iconic and good for Wikipedia's readers to come to understand the topic. This is not a list that can ever be completed, and maybe this content should not be presented as a list at all.
This article could be developed into something better with some well-selected examples, perhaps grouped together by drug classes, and discussed as representative examples. If it is, that is not Wikipedia's usual presentation of a list, which by the manual of style should not be much more than a list without explanation. Because this list was detracting from the main article and because I could not think of a better way to improve content all around, I moved this here. Blue Rasberry (talk) 16:05, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
