Annotated
editThis should be annotated as well. I was really pleased with how the List of environmental websites looked after annotation (let's hope it doesn't get deleted). ImpIn | (t - c) 01:28, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for your support. I followed your advice, even though it has already been decided to keep "List of environmental periodicals", according to "Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of environmental periodicals". -- Wavelength (talk) 02:47, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Wish I could do more (and I can, just don't have a lot of self-discipline). Would be nice to also categorize these by topic perhaps as well. Further, some of them are peer-reviewed scholarly journals and others are not; might be good to separate into two lists. I may try later. ImpIn | (t - c) 03:20, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Moving a bunch of these to the list of environmental journals
editI'm trying to make these lists more selective and organized. I've put together a list of environmental publications as well. I'd like to rename this to list of environmental magazines -- anyone oppose? ImpIn | (t - c) 03:12, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- When I started the list of environmental periodicals, I chose the word "periodicals" in order to include magazines as well as newspapers. More information is in the article on periodical publications. -- Wavelength (talk) 13:42, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- We could keep this page name and have a section with:
- to indicate that it is a subset of this page. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 05:27, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- That seems like a good idea. I have seen other pages where that sort of thing was done. I do not know what criteria were used to decide which members of the subset to include on the page with the larger set. What are your criteria for making that decision? -- Wavelength (talk) 18:14, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Further refinement, clearer statement of purpose for this article, moved scholarly, peer-reviewed journals to List of environmental journals. Getting there, but may require periodic re-sorting. DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 15:27, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
There is an RfC regarding the standardization of journal lists names. Please comment at Talk:List of journals#RFC. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 01:36, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
Rename article?
editList of environmental magazines or List of environmental magazines and newsletters would be a more accurate title for this article, I think. DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 06:21, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
- I repeat what I posted in the discussion before the previous one.
When I started the list of environmental periodicals, I chose the word "periodicals" in order to include magazines as well as newspapers. More information is in the article on periodical publications.

- Okay, I'm on board. With new subheadings, the article is shaping up like you originally intended. Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 13:38, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Subsections added
editI've added subsections to this article, which help highlight the different types of periodicals. It may encourage additions to the respective categories, as well. DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 08:32, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
