Article Title
editI admit I'm not a regular editor on Wikipedia, but I found myself rather dumbfounded by the title of this article: List of Fictional Antichrists. Is there a reason the word fictional is used, because it's not like there is verifiable evidence of a real antichrist? I admit this may be a silly question, but I just couldn't help but put this question forward. 18:18, 10 July 2022 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:48F8:3028:2D:419A:DC45:6FF4:85BD (talk)
Naruto Reference
editRequesting permission to remove the "Pein in Naruto" reference. The character in question is not an antichrist, regardless of whether a prophecy of destruction exists. 131.111.8.104 12:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Lord Asriel
editI need to get something straight here, the idea that Lord Asriel is the HDM represntation of the Antichrist is foolish as Pullman has quite easily shown that he is more a representation of Lucifer before the fall with his references in Paradise Lost.Lightningbarer (talk) 14:34, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
Believe me, there's all sorts of "Pullman is an ultra-blasphemous demon in human form" crap around the internet. I linked to this page trying to do some research on characterization and saw Asriel as the first listing. This is obviously someone's attempt to slam the HDM books as being "unholy," I'm sure. The list should be separated by medium
editThe list should be split up into multiple section of the various media (literature, film, etc).
It should also feature the years of the works and it would be useful to have it converted to a sortable table.
Furthermore maybe the article should be renamed to something like "List of portrayals of the Antichrist in fiction"?
Shift the Ape? Really?
editWhy is Shift the Ape from CS Lewis' The Last Battle listed here? He's no anti-Christ. He's just a devious trickster out for himself. Well, for now I'm just putting in "Citation needed" and "OR" tags, but if someone doesn't justify including him on the list, with a reliable source, I will remove him. HandsomeMrToad (talk) 08:25, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- I believe it has to do with the manner in which Shift influenced Puzzle into pretending to be that worlds allegory for Christ. By this logic the antichrist of Narnia isn't so much Shift the Ape as it was Puzzle, so Shift the Ape really doesn't belong on this list. 2001:48F8:3028:2D:419A:DC45:6FF4:85BD (talk) 18:24, 10 July 2022 (UTC)
Randall Flagg
editThe Antichrist is supposed to be human. In The Stand Randall Flagg is identified as Legion from the Gospels, and therefore is a demon, not a human. This item should be removed. Tfdavisatsnetnet (talk) 23:55, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
Children of Satan
editA lot of these examples seem to just be here for being childrens of Satan or Lucifer, etc., and some even for being apocalyptic or particularly vile beings (Johan Liebert is not the antichrist, merely pure evil). I think the list needs to seriously be cleaned up. Promestein (talk) 18:11, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
