editWHO WAS THE PRESIDENT WHEN WEST VIRGINIA BECAME A STATE — Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.216.88.153 (talk) 15:44, 23 June 2008
- Dumb place to ask. First find when WV became a state, then who was president then. Should take you thirty seconds or less. Шизомби (talk) 00:22, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Al Gore?
editFirst of all, I think we should be placing some sort of footnote that Al Gore is an actual person, though was never President. There might be more actual people in here, but I don't think there is.
Second of all, there are more science fiction stories made in the late 1990s that predicted that Al Gore would be elected President in the 2000 election. They should be also mentioned as they are found. Cdevon2 (talk) 15:19, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- You're right about that Cdevon2! Al Gore is a real person and shouldn't be on the list. When I get the chance, I will remove him from the list and put him on the fictonal Presidents of the US page of historical figures. --24.147.1.197 (talk) 15:13, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Jacob Chesley
- I removed Al Gore from the List of fictional United States Presidents (G–H) two days ago. Anything about Gore being a US President in an alternate timeline can be found on the List of fictional United States presidencies of historical figures (E–G) article. --75.68.122.13 (talk) 22:40, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Jacob Chesley the Alternate Historian
William Luckinbill
editIn They've shot the president's daughter by Edward Stewart, (1973) there's a president called "William Luckinbill" (whose epithet is "Lucky Bill Luckinbill"). He is adulterous and has a wife called Monica. I do not want to add myself, as I am not sure how much detail is called for. But I mention it to draw it to the attention of the author of this list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.14.182.132 (talk) 13:27, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Douglass MacArthur?
editWhy one earth is Douglass MacArthur on this list? He was a real person and I bet he is on the List of Fictional US Presidents of Historical figures. I'll removed him from this list once I get the chance to do so and put the info about him on the other list. --75.68.122.13 (talk) 14:54, 18 February 2015 (UTC)Jacob Chesley the Alternate Historian
- Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. is also on that list even though he shouldn't be. I'll remove him when I have the chance. --75.68.122.13 (talk) 22:40, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Jacob Chesley the Alternate Historian
Owen Harper
editAlthough Owen Harper is from the Doctor Who spin off Torchwood, he appeared on the Futurama episode "All the Presidents' Heads" as a head in a jar inside the "Hall of Presidents" in the New New York Head Museum, implying that he served as the President of the United States or as President of Earth before 3011. Is it alright if I add him to the list? --75.68.122.13 (talk) 19:19, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Jacob Chesley the Alternate Historian
Leslie Knope
editShould it be mentioned that it is only implied Leslie knope becomes president in the series finale, and that it could also be Ben Wyatt? EpicMeeper (talk) 19:39, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
