The Department of Film and Theatre of the University of New Orleans has an excellent and very affordable graduate program offering an MFA in Film Production. This is also the only film production MFA in Louisiana. The Department also offers an excellent film arts major for undergraduates, with film production and film studies courses.

Agreed, NYU/Tisch and UNCSA are notable US film schools and therefore notable omissions. Anyone with slightly better knowledge of the program(s) able to add them, otherwise if I get the chance I can do a little research and do so.
