Merge/delete?
editI've created a category that serves this purpose. Might it now be appropriate to merge as tagged or delete? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Porlob (talk • contribs)
- 1. Categories do not serve the same purpose as lists; to make it to category, title needs it's respective article. Red entries on lists encourage Wikipedia contributors to create articles, but even as such, they serve users (like me searching 9/11 related docs and flicks).
- 2. Merge as tagged, but only if you're willing to go through the trouble of providing description for each and every entry of this article on September 11, 2001 attacks in arts and literature page.
- IMHO, this article deserves to stay. It's useful and easy to maintain. --213.216.199.6 17:04, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- I will remove the merge tag in the end of this month since it's been there from June. --213.216.199.6 11:56, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
Don't add these
editAs I went through the revision history of this article, I found:
Saint of 9/11
The Cole Conspiracy
9/11: The Road to Tyranny
Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State
WTC View
Into The Fire
These are more based on something else than 9/11 or too vaguely related. --213.216.199.6 11:56, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
Disturbing?
editAm I the only one who is grossed out by the numerous amounts people like Oliver Stone and Michael Moore who are capitalizing off such horrid tragedy's? Well it's good to know that when disaster strikes all the wrong people will be ready to capitalize upon it...
How exactly is Michael Moore capitalizing off of 9/11? He produced a documentary about the Bush administration's mishandling of foreign affairs bother before and after 9/11. I would not call that "profiteering," given that public reaction (while mixed on the political content of Moore's film) was overwhelming informed by the clips Moore used in his documentary. This sounds like conservative political ideology on your part to specifically mention two known liberal filmmakers, especially since I could do more than mention no-bid contracts as a way of illustrating true profit off of others' tragedy. Please sign your name too.
