Merger discussion
editI think List of giant squid specimens and sightings (2015–present) should be merged here; I cannot see any reason to have two articles on the topic, which just leads to unnecessary duplication. QueenofBithynia (talk) 13:31, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
- The reason is simple: these articles are very very long, even when split by time period, and because of that were separated several years ago. Combining them back into browser-choking monsters serves no one, and any duplication is minimal and restricted to background material. This is a non-starter. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 13:40, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
- In that case, this article should be renamed, as "2015–present" is in the 21st century. QueenofBithynia (talk) 13:42, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
- I've moved the page as per the uncontested suggestion, resolving the merge proposal. Klbrain (talk) 11:08, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
