Re: “Sophie - Maiden of the Mere” under Procto-Indo-European Mythology - there are no references to this in the source P.I.E. Mythology article. There are no easily searchable sources about such a goddess. And the link leads only to the disambiguation page for the name Sophie. This appears to be a red herring.

Hey, I was the original creator of the article. Fictional goddesses are going to be far more than historical goddesses. I am a Pagan and created this article as a resource. My personal preference for this article is that fictional goddesses are only added as to how they apply to NeoPaganism- i.e only pantheons popular amongst Pop-culture Pagans. How ot currently is is satisfactory. Thank you. Artheartsoul1 (talk) 23:28, 16 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I really miss the overall list of deities on Wikipedia, but for some reason, there is only this list of goddesses here, which... seems strange to me. What was the point of highlighting only goddesses here? What about gods or androgynous/hermaphroditic deities? It seems to me that it would be more correct to make this article a general list of all deities, not just goddesses. VolChekHi (talk) 08:53, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
