Order of the ships

edit

Why does the P-class appears before the Admiral Hipper-class when the P-class was authorized and designed after the Admiral Hippers were designed, had at least four of its ships laid down and at least one of then launched? It seems odd to me. Cléééston (talk) 14:30, 25 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

They're more or less from the same development line Deutschland->D class->P class. The Hippers are the "one of these things is not like the others" design, so to me, it makes sense to discuss the panzerschiff-type cruisers first and then the traditional (allegedly) treaty cruisers. For what it's worth, Gröner made the same decision. Parsecboy (talk) 14:57, 25 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
