editAs a contributor to the U.S. Interstate Highways Wikiproject, I feel that this page should be deleted for the following reasons:
It is redundant: Interstate 287 already exists for this route. It is inappropriately titled. This is not "Route 287", and it sets bad precendent if it is allowed to stand as a redirect. The proper titling of pages for routehighways is a very contentious issue at the state highway level.
That said, this article may be recycled at a later point as a disambiguation page for various state routes 287, but this page should not remain on the subject of I-287. —C.Fred (talk) 02:53, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- I-287 is also called Route 287 in New Jersey. Better as a redirect or a disambiguation page if there are multiple state highways numbered 287. Polaron | Talk 02:59, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

editI looked at Route 95 today, which stands as a disambiguation page, and 1) it is useful and 2) it has precedent, having been around for over a year. I agree with Polaron about a dab page, and I have changed the article accordingly. —C.Fred (talk) 17:36, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
