Hi, i am Stéphan BONNET, marketing manager of Joomeo.com. I would like to suggest you to add Joomeo into your photo-sharing websites list. Our Website is quite well known by photographers especially because of its reliability and its user-friendly graphic interface.

cloudy.sh has started a public beta of its photo sharing services, so I would like to add a new entry to the section "Active photo-sharing websites": The following is the source code that should be added to the table:

|- ! cloudy.sh | Norway / The Unauthorized Frog project (hosting: Nerherlands) | Personal photo sharing site, free, but registration required. The hosting of images happens in a decentralized manner, on the clients' home computer by utilizing a client software downloadable from the site. | | | | | 1 | N/A since hosting happens on the users' computer. | Unranked

Or more detailed:

   Name: cloudy.sh
   Link: http://cloudy.sh
   Location: Norway (hosting: Nerherlands)
   Owner: The Unauthorized Frog project
Description: Personal photo sharing site, free, but registration required. The hosting of images happens in a decentralized manner, on the clients' home computer by utilizing a client software downloadable from the site.
   IOS:
   Android:
   Windows:
   Other:
   Users: 1
Storage Space: N/A since hosting happens on the users' computer.
   Alexa: Unranked

Cloudy.sh (talk) 09:11, 4 August 2016 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. You need to establish notability with reliable third-party sources (unlikely to have much for a new service like this one). nyuszika7h (talk) 11:17, 4 August 2016 (UTC)

Please get DeviantArt removed off this list. DeviantArt is a site for artists to share their work, and some even live off of it. While some random people post whatever they want, flooding the pages with random images instead of art. Also, there are accounts, who post a drawing not made by them just to share it. However they share it in such a way that it is no longer sharing, but art theft.

Here's an example account of a guy who posts random pictures, and even art pieces not made by him: WP:COPYVIOEL removed

If you look at his profile, you will see people commented, and they aren't happy.

All in all, DeviantArt is NOT, and I repeat, NOT an image hosting website. By putting DeviantArt(and other art sites) on a "Image Hosting Websites" list you not only insult artists, but make their living a LOT harder.

Vladeisan (talk) 19:20, 10 October 2016 (UTC)

Not done DeviantArt obviously hosts images (as evidenced, among other things, by the link you provided to an account that is using the site to host images). It does other things, too, but that's not directly relevant. In any case, the edit request template should only be used after consensus is achieved to make a change. More generally, as an encyclopedia we don't really go out of our way to avoid some group taking offense to Wikipedia's content. We do avoid directly linking to copyright violations, but we don't avoid covering topics just because it could result in someone else violating a copyright. Panoramio, Ipernity

Panoramio was closed down on November 6, 2016. I moved it to the defuncts section. Also it is most likely that ipernity shall be closed down soon, we should update the page accordingly when the decision is finalized and publisjed. SV1XV (talk) 17:05, 28 January 2017 (UTC)

Done. @Tharun518: Thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. Per WP:COI, you are strongly discouraged from directly editing affected articles. In the future, please use the {{request edit}} template so independent editors can evaluate potential additions to the article. (In this particular case, I would wait to see what the outcome of the AFD discussion is first.) ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 03:09, 14 July 2018 (UTC)

Clickasnap to be added as a photo hosting site It has free and paid options It is also the worlds only paid per view photo hosting platform. Users are paid for their photo views similar to the way Youtube pays video creators It has 15,000 registered users with 1m monthly page views endorsed by some of the worlds top photographers Tomoswald (talk) 21:20, 23 July 2018 (UTC)

This article seems to be oriented toward the sharer (the originator of the pictures), with a lack of information for sharees (people who may want to use pictures that the originator wishes to share with others (whether paid or free). An individual or organisation wishing to source an image will not be assisted in finding a suitable service from this article. FreeFlow99 (talk) 17:24, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

Are they a notable company? Our page only lists websites that have a Wikipedia article. Imgbb is rather secretive; their website doesn't tell us who they are. The striking absence of grammatical articles ("when visitor uploads image to imgbb.com server") suggests they are based in Eastern Europe.  --Lambiam 15:23, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

Is there a BLOCKLIST/BLACKLIST for protection against dubious pages with respect paid to media? Not limited to piracy but also German IT security law 2015 disobedience (malware tolerance).

is there a list for a diversity of android firewalls and other firewalls, ip tables, windows hosts file et cetera for blockage of DUBIOUS picture video and audio services? thx in advance --94.134.91.15 (talk) 01:26, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
