@Wasteland-Philosopher: Hello, I saw you have reverted my adding back the parenthetical explaining what cerci are. That parenthetical explanation as well the others throughout the article are intentional and they are there for WP:TECHNICAL. Because articles should be self-contained as much as possible, it is necessary to have explanations for uncommon words like "cerci" inside of this article so that readers don't have to click a wikilink to find out what it is. Hello! I appreciate the clarification. I removed the parenthetical because it states that cerci detect light. The function of cerci is primarily tactile sense, primarily either detecting movement in the air or objects in the environment around them. I will edit the page to state the function of cerci within the article. I am new to this, so I really appreciate you messaging me about the edit! Have a good one.
