This is a stand-alone list, meaning that it is not eligible to be a good article, as per Wikipedia:Good article criteria#What cannot be a good article?. You can consider nominating it featured list candidates instead, but I am afraid there is no "good list candidates" page. Here are a few comments on possible improvements for the page anyway:

• This is an article about islands; it's odd to open with a claim about Perth's ecosystems.
• "safe refuge" is a little evocative; not the most neutral of terms.
• Do any of these islands have a human population? That would be important information?
• Every entry should have a source (or collecton of sources) which can support all of the information in the row. Some entries are apparently unsourced (e.g., the entry for Bird Island).
• Some of the sources look less than ideal; scholarly, governmental or journalistic sources should be available for this kind of information. members.iinet.net.au, for example, probably does not meet the reliable source guidelines.
