The lists look to me to be a bit of a mess. There is a claim that the "The list is split out by parish", but a) civil parishes are almost redundant in terms of use in Scottish cites b) nearly all of Dundee is in the civil parish of Dundee. Thus what the 1-6 divisions are are unclear, but they do not seem to be based on any geographical region. For instance List of listed buildings in Dundee/1 includes properties in West Ferry and Perth Road which are at opposite ends of Dundee. List of listed buildings in Dundee/2 also includes some West Ferry buildings and Perth Road buildings as well as buildings from other parts of the city. This means the lists' contests seem somewhat random and as such I am not sure how much use they are to people as they stand. Dunarc (talk) 21:44, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
