Aoziwe: I’ve got no idea what this is all about. Perhaps a link to the revert would be good. Users can be disappointed for any edit; however, if the edit was for good reason, justification of the restoration is required, other than expressing disappointment. 185.22.143.22, firstly, when you refer to an edit, please be specific as to which edit you're referring to. I have made lots of edits on lots of articles and I had no idea what you were talking about. Please see how Aoziwe has done it at 09:18 UTC above. I thought that it is very clear from my edit on 3 February 2020 that the long list of (some) bushfires in Australia, much of which was possibly original research as it was unreferenced, was a list. As per MOS:LIST, lists should be placed in lists and not in articles, especially an article of the length of Bushfires in Australia. Admittedly, the description of my edit was not ideal and I should have said something along the lines of "List content moved to List of major bushfires in Australia as per WP:PURPLIST." Sorry about that. I also reduced (by hiding some of) the content of the list by defining what is a "major" bushfire and what is not; namely, For the purposes of this article, a "major" bushfire is defined as any bushfire that results in a fatality or any bushfire that burns in excess of 5,000 hectares (12,000 acres), or is significant for its damage to particular Australian landmarks. Now this is an arbitrary call that I made. It's open for discussion; perhaps its too low or too high? If a bushfire burns area surround Uluru, that may be considered significant; etc. That's the type of matter that would be discussed here. Finally, today I removed duplicated content covering the 1974-75 fire season. I hope that helps you. Please let me know if you need further clarification. Problem with sorting by fatalities

When sorting the table by fatalities, the "5 September 2019 – 2 March 2020" row is not sorting correctly. It's sorting as if the value is zero rather than 34. 115.64.53.243 (talk) 04:23, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
