Category cleanup
editThis article looks like it's pretty accurate; folks have been doing a good job maintaining it. But the category that relates to this article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Mammals_of_Thailand) seems to have a few inaccuracies which I've tried to address. Please look it over when you get a chance. Thanks.
Rhinos?
editThis article implies that both Rhinoceros sondaicus annamiticus and Dicerorhinus sumatrensis lasiotis were originally endemic in Thailand. Source? Kortoso (talk) 20:58, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
- I don't see anything that suggests they were endemic to (i.e. found only in) Thailand. The Javan and Sumatran rhinoceroses previously did occur in Thailand, though. See for example their IUCN Red List entries. The Sumatran subspecies should probably be Dicerorhinus sumatrensis sumatrensis, though. Pinging User:FierceJake754, who added the info. --Paul_012 (talk) 23:50, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
- I recently read the archives and it was said that Dicerorhinus sumatrensis sumatrensis lived in Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia, it wasn't lasiotis. Looks like I made a big mistake. My sincerest apologies. Looks like there will be major edits need to be done now.--FierceJake754 (talk) 19:15, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
- I've changed the list item accordingly. --Paul_012 (talk) 06:30, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
