Criteria for Table 1?

edit

Prominence of 300' or 600' are commonly used in the US to distinguish separate peaks. If 600' is used, the 2nd-highest peak in Arizona is Fremont Peak. If 300' is used, the 2nd highest is Agassiz Peak, followed by Fremont Peak. These 2, along with the highest, Mt. Humphries, are all over 12,000'. If someone thinks table 1 is correct, as is, they should state the criteria used. (Prominence is discussed in another Wikipedia article.) 24.156.78.120 (talk) 01:32, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

It's using 500 meters of prominence, according to the table's title. Dhelder (talk) 18:13, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Is this list correct?

edit

I did a query on peakbagger.com using 500m of prominence and it gives me Pastora Peak at 9,407' as #9 and Sitgreaves Mountain at 9,389' as #10, etc. The first 8 match. Dhelder (talk) 18:19, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
