Hayley and Kelsey Byrne November 22, 2004 Edmonds, Washington 9, 11 The girls were murdered by their father, Steven Byrne, by a drug overdose due to a custody and living arrangement dispute. Afterwards he killed himself. Two memorial benches were created in front of their school, Sunset Elementary in Shoreline, WA. When the school was later demolished it became Sunset Park.
