Linking practice

edit

We should really be keeping all the links to the company internal. External links should be in the individual articles. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Glom (talkcontribs) 09:05, 7 May 2007 (UTC).Reply

ICON Engineeirng Pty Ltd

edit

I've been researching heave compensation systems and looked at this list for a company ICON Engineeirng, who make them. These guys and are doing work in the field of locked to bottom operations for offshore drilling. anyway, they weren't on the list so I put them on there and added a company site. The site has been deleted for some reason. what's the reason. I was going to add to this list as it's really quite incomplete, but if the additions are deleted..whats the point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by John21rope (talkcontribs) 01:01, August 3, 2016 (UTC)

Many notable companies are missing from this list.

edit

I'm keen to add to this list : Here are some notable additions: Allseas, Heerema, Cameron, Sapura Kenchana, Clough, OneSubsea, Subsea 7, ... but how to add in the correct way? If the company name is added, the name is deleted before the company article can be created. Catch 22 I believe.— Preceding unsigned comment added by John21rope (talkcontribs) 16:37, August 8, 2016 (UTC)
