Sources
editIt looks like sources were once a part of this article, but all were removed by one sweeping edit. Any particular reason why? It seems to have seriously decreased the value of this article as a resource. Plays88keys (talk) 04:02, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

editI see this as a well laid out structured list. Yes, it has links, but it's a valuable resource. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ngreen2001 (talk • contribs)
- Please see WP:EL. An article is not supposed to have links in the body like that. A structured table would be fine, but they should link to the articles, with no ELs. On top of that, while I didn't check them all, I'm guessing every single so-called reference is just another link to the archive, which renders it doublely problematic. ♫ Melodia Chaconne ♫ (talk) 17:18, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- I did. It states that it is not normally recommended to include external lists in the body of an article. Not that they are banned. The nature of this particular list would seem to be an exception to me. I agree with the references, though. I would think a cleanup tag or similar would be more applicable. I only made an update to the statistics (viewable from the IMSLP counter on the site's main page), which were very out-of-date. I believe this should be uncontroversial. D. Benjamin Miller (talk) 03:21, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
Needs updating
editThis reeeally needs a careful update. While copyediting this article I found a few of the resources either no longer existed or are now available as part of another resource already listed. I only checked a few resources in the first place, so actually most of the ones I checked were not really appropriate for listing here anymore (apparently). Add to this the fact that very few working links are provided to actually find the resources themselves, and you have a pretty sucky situation. - dcljr (talk) 03:17, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
