Suggestion

Hello Alltherestissilence. Thank you for starting this list - I suspect that this is a labor of love for you. Thus, I want to warn you that a previous list of the operas performed at the Santa Fe Opera was deleted several years ago. That does not mean that will happen to this one since WP:CONSENSUS can change. As I put in several hours of work on the first one it was a real drag when it disappeared. I have one suggestion. Madama Butterfly was the very first opera performed on July 3rd 1957 so you might move it to the first spot on the table. After that alphabetical order is probably as good a way to go as any for the rest of the table. Cheers and happy editing no matter what happens. MarnetteD | Talk 17:36, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

I was aware that the original list was removed froe reasons I can no longer remember. However, we now have several lists in place (all as separate articles), including one List of operas performed at the Wexford Festival and a couple for UK's Opera North, so we have precedents for this to exist, and I would hope that there is discussion and consensus before someone tries to remove this one again!!

Whatever happens, I think that there will be at least 4 editors who will oppose the removal of this one. Viva-Verdi (talk) 17:05, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

Die Entführung aus dem Serail in 1994 and The Magic Flute from 2010 are listed as performances in Italian. Really?

The entry for Hindemith's Neues vom Tage (1981) is malformed; it's missing the square brackets (and its title shouldn't be translated). -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 12:35, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
