Stale Merge proposal
editIt has been suggested that this article be merged since 2009. With no objections this editor would like to complete that merge.--Amadscientist (talk) 14:07, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
In looking further this merge is delisted. Article list contains a different list in a different format with two references. Stale merge. Article seems original enough with no further discussion to delist.--Amadscientist (talk) 21:27, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Ilkka Remes
editThe entry for Ilkka Remes had been wrong for the whole lifetime of this article - almost seven years! The first revision of this article has the edit summary "split". Where was this article split from? JIP | Talk 16:47, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Merged from List of pseudonyms
editI merged the pen names from List of pseudonyms here. Some of the wikilinks were lost in the process unfortunately.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 21:43, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
List include non-pen names
editThis list includes many names that are not pseudonyms. For example, it includes authors who changed their name, such as Maya Angelou. That was her legal name. And, as noted in the following section, J.K. Rowlings is the author using their initials rather than their full name. It was deleted back in 2014 and then someone else re-added it later. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vroo (talk • contribs) 07:15, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
J.K. Rowlings is not a pseudonym
editJ.K. Rowlings is not really a pseudonym, unless you count the middle letter "K" as pseudonym. If you're adding authors who go by their initials, you'll have to put H.G. Wells, C.S. Lewis, and J.R.R. Tolkien, as well as a few hundred others, in as well. Geoffrey.landis (talk) 22:00, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- Agreed; deleted. I had came across this list recently and performed major copy edit, but missed this. You were welcome to delete the entry yourself. Prhartcom (talk) 20:51, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

- Archive OK, removed original link as it now points to an usurping spam site. GermanJoe (talk) 16:28, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
William Goldman
editIs there a reason that he is not listed with his pseudonym, Simon Morgenstern? --Sbwinter2 (talk) 02:44, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
