I wonder if describing Blair as a Titanic crew member is slightly misleading given the fact he did not serve on her when she was in commercial use (ie during her sinking on her maiden voyage), only in test voyages. Also he held an officer's position so crew member is perhaps inappropriate. While his transfer off the ship is significant it might be better to simply say mariner who served on RMS Titanic?
