Candidates to Consider

edit

Hi, guys. Apparently, there is a Lebanese tourist who, en route to Lebanon, was deported back to Ecuador for losing his papers. He's been at the Ecuadorian airport for over a month now. Maybe to consider adding him to the list: Lebanese Nizam Shalak Stranded in Ecuador Airport for Over 40 Days Now. -- Omarali85 (talk) 22:04, 13 June 2018 (GMT)

Snowden

edit

I just deleted Snowden since he has not been living in an airport for more than a week. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.180.76.184 (talk) 14:01, 27 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Berlin Tegel

Two cases at Berlin Tegel Airport, didn't find English coverage: [1], [2], [3]. --Trofobi (talk) 09:58, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Can you provide a brief summary of these cases? Who was, country of origin, dates, time spent in airport... Thanks. emijrp (talk) 20:06, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

table color

edit

i have attempted to change the color of the last person in the table, but for some reason the bgcolor remains entirely black — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.72.176.91 (talk) 06:28, 4 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Because you put a dark color. I have restored the yellow tone. emijrp (talk) 07:09, 4 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
IE10 shows black background. Edit: Nevermind, fixed by replacing bgcolor. 178.216.128.99 (talk) 12:50, 27 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
It was showing up as black for me, too (IE11); only in the table but not in the legend. I've replaced it with what should be the same color in a six-letter code, which fixed the issue. - Purplewowies (talk) 20:27, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Protect the page

edit

I think it should be semi-protected due to recent vandalism.

Another candidate to consider

edit

Mohamed Hussein Bloushu, a resident of UAE but without citizenship, was given a Comorian passport. When attempting to travel earlier this year, no nations would grant him entry; as of 06 April 2018 he had been living in the Nairobi airport for four months. I have been unable to find more recent information on his status.

Editing the table for Bayram Tepeli

edit

It seems that Bayram Tepeli, who is shown as no longer living in an airport has moved on to the other airport in Istanbul. I'm not sure how it should be shown in the table in terms of stay duration and airport. I've a small remark to show his current situation and a citation form a Turkish news site but I guess there should be more changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ataalik (talkcontribs) 17:30, 12 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Name: Viktor Navorski. Nationality: Krakozhian. Location: John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York.

edit

Why don't you add fictional characters on the list? Like Viktor Navorski from Krakozhia at John F. Kennedy Airport, New York from the film The Terminal. Peroid: How long was he there? Reason for stay: Why did he stay there? Reason for leaving: Why did he leave there? 86.128.246.72 (talk) 21:00, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Riley Brooks

edit

Dubious claim as both sources date to before alleged delay - more recent claim makes no reference to Riley at all. Autarch (talk) 10:10, 25 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
