Incorrectly classified "derisive adjectives"
editHuge numbers of these are not even remotely derisive terms (some of them are even points of pride), but they seem to have been lumped in.
Examples:
- Scotch mist (entirely neutral)
- Arizona cloudburst (entirely neutral)
- California breakfast (not derisive or a slur)
- Chicago overcoat (simple slang - not derisive or a slur)
- Chicago piano (slang - not derisive)
- Connecticut mile (neutral)
- Detroit iron (positive term)
- French kiss (positive)
- French inhale (positive/neutral)
- Rocky Mountain/Prairie Oysters (neutral)
- Mountain dew (neutral)
- Texas squirrels (neutral slang)
