editStrongly oppose suggestion that ragtime musicians be merged with ragtime composers. While some individuals are both, composers and musicians are two different categories. -- Infrogmation 03:48, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Ok so why didn't you remove the merge tag before I merged. You should probably revert the other page too, I don't know how to revert a page that fast Dafoeberezin3494 03:52, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't remove the move tag as the previous time I looked, it had a red link discussion. I guessed somone intended to fill in an argument for merging later, and I'd take a look at it and state my opinion then. Cheers, -- Infrogmation 13:38, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Citation Question?
editThis article has been flagged: "This list does not cite any sources...", etc.
As always, when it comes to a list, this puzzles me. It is possible to find and include citations for each and every name on the list, but footnoting every single item on a list seems, to me, cumbersome, and out of character with the intentionality of a list -- which is ease of use.
Furthermore, nearly everyone on the list has their own Wikipedia article -- to which their name is directly linked. Those articles more than adequately verify a) that the person exists or existed, and b) that they are, or were a "ragtime musician". What more is needed?
I can provide citations for pretty much all of these, but is seems redundant and, well, silly...
Can someone clarify, please? TIA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.89.176.249 (talk) 02:51, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
