Other : * Out of date turtle articles abound, mainly taxonomy issues, get a list here and scroll down for articles. Taxonomy information is available in WikiProject Turtles resources.
- {{Extinct turtles}} and fossil forms of both living and extinct turtles requires attention:many extinct articles require either expansion or creation and sources seems hard to come by. A list of fossil forms is being compiled so progress can be charted.
- Patrol: recent changes to turtle articles and check for improvements or errors.

Has anyone noticed that this list is purely lizards? Shouldn't it be expanded to be a "true" list of reptiles in California? Quietpopcorn (talk) 13:18, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Three snake species have been added, but this list is still woefully incomplete. There is at least one (and probably more) species of turtle found in California, and probably over a dozen snakes. KevinOKeeffe (talk) 14:27, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
