The title of this list seems fundamentally flawed in that it is not a list of Research Labs, rather a list of Research Centers. There isn't a single specific lab listed here, which is probably a good thing (as I said on the talk page for UMass). It's also missing a number of the better known Research Centers, and contains many seemingly non-notable ones. There's also no apparent order, ranking, or classification employed in this list. I have similar concerns about List of University of Massachusetts Amherst notable faculty, which seems to be a completely arbitrary list of faculty members with no individual notability asserted for each.
