I'd like to see a list of retailers not affected by the retail apocalypse. Seems more interesting to me, as most seem to have been affected. This way we can know what things are trending in a positive direction. Thanks! 73.101.167.59 (talk) 13:21, 9 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

2010 cutoff date?

edit

I'm curious as to why 2010 was chosen as the cutoff date? There were plenty of retail bankruptcies in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis (think Circuit City in 2009) that probably should be part of this list. Retail was failing as early as 2000, when the deadmalls.com site was first published, and Jeff Bezos was named Time Magazine's Person of the Year in 1999. I would propose moving the start date cutoff to at least 2008. Mirza Ahmed (talk) 07:46, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
