editVery incomplete. Also, needs to be organized. Michael Hardy 23:15, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
What are talk links for?
editWhy do the links look like
- * [[Set theory]] [[Talk:Set theory| ]]?
The Talk link doesn't seem to be clickable, so I wonder why it's there. I've omitted it in my most recent contributions. --Trovatore 07:05, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
They are there in order that when you click on "recent changes", you will see edits to the talk pages. That's one of the various ways in which topics lists are superior to categories. Michael Hardy 00:23, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
- I see. I suppose that's something. Can't say I'm overwhelmed though--"recent changes" changes so fast as to be essentially useless, unless you're just looking for a random active discussion. With 125 pages on my watchlist, I almost never see anything bolded on "recent changes". --Trovatore 00:31, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
- I guess you meant "related changes". OK, there's something to that. --Trovatore 00:35, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
Is there a template for this? It'd be nice to just have to type, say,
- {{subst:listify|Yiannis N. Moschovakis}}
