soccer stadiums?
editsome stadiums aren't soccer specific stadiums, they are mainly american football stadiums... they're "recycled"...
- They're used for soccer though, some baseball venues are listed too. There's a separate page for SSS. BobbyAFC 21:40, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
I think all stadiums that are not the home of a soccer team should be removed. Willy turner (talk) 04:05, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- Why limit the list to only current matches? What about stadiums which used to host soccer teams like the old NASL, etc? Or, even the 1994 World Cup? Lists of stadiums by league (current, or past) seem more in line with what you're talking about; but, I don't see anything wrong with this article. Especially, since the criteria for inclusion is spelled out at the top of the page already. Neier (talk) 01:54, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- There is another issue. Some are ordered by maximum attendance.130.126.245.129 (talk) 15:35, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
Column for teams?
editPerhaps as a compromise there could be an additional column that lists any soccer teams that regularly play in that stadium, rather than just lumping them under "events"? I agree that it's appropriate to list important stadiums that have hosted soccer in the past, but it's also the case that most users are thinking of stadiums that regularly host soccer when they visit the page. It's actually quite difficult to look at the table and quickly and easily see what stadiums host professional or collegiate soccer teams. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dys Claimer (talk • contribs) 21:26, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
