Proposed merge with List of unreleased songs recorded by Gwen Stefani

The only difference between these two lists is publication not performance. As the record label publishes and Ms Stefani performs I see no reason to keep separate. Richhoncho (talk) 20:08, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose merge. Stefani has a lot of unreleased songs from recording sessions, and a majority of the artists that have 'list of songs' pages, also have 'list of unreleased songs' pages to separate the 20-30 some songs that haven't been officially released. - You still haven't explained why there is a significant difference between the two lists. Comments? --Richhoncho (talk) 09:57, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I think it's important to separate the unreleased songs from the released ones, especially since there are so many. Obviously, this list would include officially released tracks while the other one would be solely for unreleased ones. Do you think it's important to note this difference? Carbrera (talk) 04:12, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
- I do think it is important to note what is released and what is not. A song recorded by GS is a song recorded (whether released or not) and there is a conversastion/link between all songs recorded by an artist which you will not be able to see with separate lists. Song B will be dropped for song A by the record label, not the artist or it's management company. The year, place and songwriters may also give clues as to the choices of an artist and it's record company. Not that I am saying an editor should add synthesis. Why delete information in favour of two lists? --Richhoncho (talk) 10:25, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
- PS. Also we are forgetting that the title of this article is "List of songs recorded by..." whether they are released is not a defining criteria for inclusion. --Richhoncho (talk) 13:21, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

- I now agree with you about what was previously said. I believe I carried this out correctly, since the other list was poorly sourced, etc. Carbrera (talk) 21:16, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
