Number of host computers vs. number of domains?
editBased on the link this article refers, it seems the data is derived from the number of domains, not the number of host computers.
So I think we should change the "Internet host" to "domain name", also should the article name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MichealY (talk) 04:16, 31 May 2009
Put rank column (1,2,3) next to table, but not in it
editSee {{rank order}} and Help:Sorting#Initial alphabetical sort versus initial sort by rank order. See the section about putting a separate rank column (1,2,3) next to a table. This makes the table easier to maintain and update. This works whether the table is initially in rank order or alphabetical order. --Timeshifter (talk) 08:48, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think this change is necessary or a good idea. There is a related discussion going on about this over at Talk:List of countries by number of Internet users#Rank-order column (1,2,3) should be static and separate, lets continue the discussion there. --Jeff Ogden (W163) (talk) 15:51, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- That list's current format is different. This list does not exclude sub-regions and territories from being ranked. So it would be easy here to separate the rank column. That would make this list much easier to update and maintain. --Timeshifter (talk) 10:47, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
