New name
edit@Graeme Bartlett, Isambard Kingdom, Gorthian, and Tarl N.: Two names bandied about at the AFD for a new name for this page were Stellar explosion types and List of stellar explosion types. At this particular point in time it really looks to be more of a "list" page. Any opposition to moving it to "List of..."? Primefac (talk) 12:41, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- No objection. Tarl N. (discuss) 14:10, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- Please do! — Gorthian (talk) 19:24, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- Go ahead, that would be the AFD outcome suggestion. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:26, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose The new name seems unnecessarily verbose and constraining. Stellar explosions are the subject of substantial and respectable books such as this and so are a notable topic by that title. As these events have common characteristics, they should be discussed as a whole and so this should be a broad concept article rather than a plain list. Andrew D. (talk) 13:07, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
- Now moot, moved. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:43, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
