The order
editI wonder if it might not be better to categorize the composers alphabetically within each time period. I find it rather confusing to look for individual composers as it is now. Especially if I’m not sure about there date of berth. Does any one have any opinion on this? S.dedalus 01:21, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Not sure really... since people are not sticking to the present protocol and probably wouldn't stick to an alphabetical one... not sure at all. Schissel | Sound the Note! 18:45, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Composers without pages
editAny objections to removing Giovanni Albini and a few others from the list, who do respond to Google search, for instance, but not very well? Please see notability criteria, even mildly applied. Schissel | Sound the Note! 18:45, 19 July 2008 (UTC) ---Notability varies based upon country, not necessarily upon Google searches. Giovanni Albini, for instance, is a well-known and highly regarded composer in northern Italy. We should keep in mind here that we're dealing with a musical genre which itself is not the most notable. 99.63.105.41 (talk) 01:37, 15 September 2011 (UTC)QuartetSavant

Interlanguage links
editPlease do not include interlanguage links on this page. Simply having an interlanguage link is not evidence of notability, which is required for WP:LISTPEOPLE. English language editors cannot verify notability and reliability of content on the other side of an ILL link, so including them here is untenable. IronGargoyle (talk) 19:18, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
